Donald Trump has been on a campaign trail for decades, but a new slogan he unveiled Wednesday is raising eyebrows among some who might think that he has no intention of taking on the big guns of the Republican Party.
In an attempt to highlight the importance of trade, Trump used a lamp shade as his slogan in a recent debate in Florida.
In the image, he appears to be standing in front of a lamp, with his face hidden behind a sheet of paper.
The lampshaded image was shared by the conservative site The American Conservatives, which has a page called “The Donald Trump Show.”
The group said that the lampshading slogan is an idea that was originally inspired by the Republican Presidential candidate’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, but that Trump has since taken it to a new level.
The American Conservative said in a statement that the idea is reminiscent of a scene from the film “The Hangover,” in which a bartender tries to put on a new suit to impress a wealthy client.
